About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Don't do anything too stupid

ABOUT ME

My quest for global domination one new taste sensation at a time!!!

Some people call me a space cowboy. Others just call me Maurice.

Think young, be young. Think old, be old.

I'm an enigma or is that an amoeba? Nope it's an enigma. Neither this nor that, but rather the accumulation of my experiences, ever changing, ever growing.

For the time being I'm embarking on the journey to obtain my PhD, studying tissue engineering and stem cell science while running an international importing company. Tomorrow I might be on to something else, I'll decide that when I wake up.

PHILOSOPHY

We are who we are and we become what our failures encourage us to be.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just got a Kindle for my birthday...whole new worlds of books just got easier to read. I like all kinds of music and movies. All depends on what side of the bed I got up on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to New Zealand is like being in the Lord of the Rings movies, only 100x better.
Visiting Australia was always a dream, I got to spend 5 years living that dream, and experienced snow on my birthday for the first time (I was born in the Northern Hemisphere summer).

Teach, Learn, Share

Currently there are two things I know about, Beer (some have accused me of being almost an expert) and science (getting back into the groove). I'm working on a third with coffee (I get excited by watching the auctions). I am passionate about all three. Scuba diving is in there as a fourth but it is lagging behind in recent times.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Mariana Islands, Poland, Thailand, United Kingdom, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Germany, United States
