About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To help the world become the best it can by becoming the best person I can.
ABOUT ME
I'm a graphic designer, English teacher and bartender.
I enjoy designing brands and logos. I also work with individuals and organizations who want to learn English as a second language. I've worked in a couple restaurants and bars and I'd like to have one eventually.
I was an au pair for two years in the US. I enjoy working with children and have worked in schools and summer camps.
PHILOSOPHY
Let's appreciate, learn from, and help each other while we're here.
COUCHSURFING SAFETY
I am committed to the safety and welfare of all of my invited guests. I am practically concerned regarding the proper behavior towards single female surfers. I consider my home a safe place for all individuals who travel alone. This commitment is based upon my integrity, honesty and responsibility as a man. I encourage and challenge all male members of the couchsurfing community to commit and post on their profile a commitment to the safety and welfare of their guests while under their watch. I also do not see couchsurfing as a dating website in any way and will not use it as such in anyway and will be committed to the safety, privacy and boundaries of all that decide to surf with me or those that host me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to see the world. And the world is not a lot of famous places and landmarks. WE are the world, we are the people. I want to meet people, make friends, learn and teach things, connect, understand others, and have new experiences and adventures. I don't think there's a better way to do this than by couchsurfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After arriving to NYC on New Year's and being informed by my hotel that my reservation had been canceled and I didn't have where to stay, I hopelessly posted on one of the forums. I was surprised when I was contacted by different people offering their couches. I ended up having a great time in NYC, made new friends and my faith in humanity was restored. Since then I've met a lot of great people through couchsurfing.
Interests
I find most things absolutely fascinating. I enjoy learning about how things work and how we can improve them. I will listen carefully about whatever your area of expertise is. I'm interested in human and social development.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2010 World Youth Conference volunteering. I met so many interesting people (mostly education and youth affairs ministers) from all over the world, specially from Africa; and Mexican volunteers. I translated speeches for my state's governor and the Tai princess, and then had dinner with them.
I met Buzz Aldrin the astronaut.
