ABOUT ME

I'm Japanese, and I've lived abroad most of my life. I don't enjoy talking about myself much, but I think I'm pretty relaxed and I'm a man of many interests. A person who's easily satisfied, and enjoys the simple pleasures in life. I think my friends would say I'm easy going and friendly.

兴趣

Generally, I don't think they vary too much with everyone. I like food, travel, music, tv, movies, and sports. It's more so in the details aren't they? I cook every now and then, and play sports like football and squash on a fairly regular basis. I used to play the alto saxophone, but haven't played in a few years now. You can look at my facebook account for my other interests. I have a horrible memory, so I usually list stuff on there.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Backpacking around Southeast Asia for 5 months, partially alone, partially with friends both old and new. Came to realise what my priorities in life should be. Wish I could live by those principles, with that spirit of adventure.
Another awestruck moment would probably have been reading Albert Camus' L’Étranger. I should read things like that more. Maybe some Nietzsche. I think I should just read more in general.
I can mention some other sappy stuff, but that's probably more than I'd like to share :P
