One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am not Muslim, but I fasted during Ramadan in a town that reaches temperatures of 120 degrees Farenheit in order to get a feel for how my community-- with the exception of families who travel up north during this time-- practices its religious duties.

How to make homemade granola bars:

1 cup dates
¼ cup honey
¼ cup peanut butter
1 cup chopped almonds
1½ cups rolled oats
Add-ins: chocolate chips or dried fruit

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some Moroccan Arabic and a conversational phrases from one the oldest world languages, Berber/Tamazight.

I can sketch a goofy cartoon of you doing something ridiculous, if you like.

I'll join you for karaoke night.
