We're living in Lanao del Norte (Mindanao island). At present I'm in Europe (March to ?? 2021).
As for my Hungarian house, currently somebody lives there based on a trusteeship agreement (might ask him if he's prepared to host, a retired mining engineer by the name of József). Our house in Mindanao is medium-size and substandard. If a wooden bed typical for this region and shared CR is okay, I'll ask my wife if she's prepared to host you.
Sometimes my in-laws or other folks use the guest room.

CURRENT MISSION

Phil – participation in local and other SE Asian railway / transport development projects.
Central Europe – Save rural railway lines, modernise public transport, improve cross-border links.
Worldwide – Improve rail and combined freight performance by supporting the ARON Rail Cargo System project (world's first freight multiple unit train with integrated logistics).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mindanao: contribute towards an open culture with freedom to move and explore without fears ... with time perhaps help to create a local CS community?

While in Hungary:
Make visit to my adopted homeland more meaningful and memorable for guests, in particular the more leisurely eager to discover one of Central Europe's most authentic natural and cultural landscapes. That way I continue to discover it more myself. (I hosted CS members next to many other guests but they didn't file couch requests or references.)

Abroad: Low-budget travel off the beaten track of tourism industry.

I'm living in Mindanao since 2016. Upon transiting to and from the island I have been visiting friends, CS members and prospective partners en route in a few places. Once we'll have an apartment or house for ourselves we'll happy to receive guests in Mindanao too, probably from late 2019.
