CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to see the world, enjoy life and have fun. I love meeting new people and learning new things. I'm starting a PhD and my trip to New York this summer is about learning as much as I can in the field I will be studying

ABOUT ME

I like to think I am fun, easy going and generally enthusiastic. I try to see the good in everything, even the bad. Every cloud has a silver lining.
I'm a huge believer in karma, and the energy we send out. Therefore I strive to only send out good energy ...or at least keep the bad energy to a minimum! (I'm only human)

My latest crusade is learning all I can, in order to complete a PhD, about racism and racial issues in the world. This is a topic that cropped up in my university degree... and has inspired me to take it further to doctorate level!

I'm a huge nerd, theres no escaping it. I like books and reading and learning. Probably more than is healthy!
But I also love new experiences, meeting new people and immersing myself in new cultures. Life is one big discovery mission.... and I'd love to look back at the end of my life and be pretty sure I did it ALL.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a gift, and I don't intend on wasting it. We all have grumpy days, but we need to put them in perspective.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a tiny flat, which I share with my boyfriend... so I can't offer a bed right now (especially as my job takes me all over the country!)
But I'd be more than happy to play tour guide and friend to any travellers who want to experience my current location, Liverpool. Its an amazing city, and as an adopted scouser, I think I make a good tour guide!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed, but my friends did while travelling last year. Its just something I HAVE to try!
