I love adventure and can happily play lots of different sports and I generally just feel better when I'm active. Especially love surfing!
I'm easy going and laid back and I love new adventures and new places.
Currently liing in Birmingham - have been so for a year and a half and really enjoying it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

have surfed on 3 separate trips (one solo,one group trip and one couple trip) and have now hosted once.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many fantastic experiences - the majority of which have been surfing. My experiences never cease to amaze

Interests

adventure, bicycles, cider, d , e, food, g, hitchhiking, i, j, k, l, m, n, ocean, people, q, rum(dark), surfing, travel, u, v, w, x, y, z. - need to finish this

like playing and watching sports. when it comes to participating i love adventurous sports, surfing (of the wave kind) is my main weakness - i went on a 10 week surf trip in South Africa at the start of 2010 which was insane.
i will try anything that gives me a bit of a rush! (rock jumping, skydiving) i like to do active and enjoyable things
would much prefer to do something active with friends than anything else.
Love watching rugby union, soccer, baseball, american football, ice hockey, many things really.

sports aside

- i like sitting down outside in the sun and doing nothing, watching things, people and the world go by.
-Good views, especially sunrise/sunsets.
-Good company especially over a drink.
-Like to laugh and enjoy having fun acting as young as I like
-I find people fascinating when they have stories to tell. Seeing the passion and joy on their face when they tell the story of their favourite trip is fantastic to see.
-The sound of birds in spring/summer of an early evening time.
-Enjoying a cool drink in the warm evenings of summer after a long hard day
-2 Years ago i discovered the joys of hitchiking on a group trip to france - such good fun and a great way to meet people.

Music, Movies, and Books

music - i love hardcore and drum and bass. Can listen to a number of different genres, mood dependent.

Movies - i love a wide range really, again mood dependent, some of my all times favs though are shawshank redemption, remember the titans, superbad, bourne ultimatum, wedding crashers, blades of glory, american gangster,into the wild. Massive denzel washington fan too.

lance armstrong books. Have recently deviated from fiction and am really into non fiction adventure/travel stories - into the wild, the death zone, giant steps, long way down, into thin air, touching the void

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done a tandem skydive when I was 17, truely amazing!

Seen niagara falls and grand canyon which were amazing in their own ways.
