Raised in the mountains of Vermont, I grew up surrounded by enriching spaces. From an early age, I learned to play within and appreciate the world around me; from climbing the three story conifer in my front yard, to skiing the slopes of my home mountain, I've developed a desire to search for both peace and adventure in new and exciting places.

I am a double major in Global Studies and Mandarin, with an additional minor in film and television studies. I am currently studying abroad at the University of Glasgow, and hope to continue on to The University of Yunnan in Kunming, China come May.

Interessi

I am an avid skier, climber, hiker, kayaker, yogi and relatively love all things outdoors. I have recently picked up skateboarding. I am always up for trying new things, and have a very adventurous spirit.

I love meeting new people and am very outgoing. I enjoy intriguing conversations and can say that I get along with just about anybody.

Musica, film e libri

While raised on classic rock, I appreciate just about every kind of music. I've recently found an interest with a combination of americana, indie, folk music, which I call Roots.

I'm a film minor and find that my interest in film is often shown through the appreciation of good cinematography and writing. My favorite movie for this reason is the adaptation of author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's book, Half of a Yellow Sun. I have a keen interest in documentary films and news series.
