ABOUT ME
Well as many others comment, this is quite a hard job since we -human beings- are complex, inconstant, behave differently depending on our mood and the circumstances of the moment and usually change over time. And then there is the "subjectivity problem" when it comes to describe ourselves... tricky issue!
On the other hand it's always interesting to hear -or read- how people describe themselves so I'm gonna get off the fence and say that -at least most of the time- this is how I see myself:
Open. Thoughtful. Honest. Understanding. I always prefer to be helpful rather than a trouble wherever I am.
Sometimes truly happy, sometimes a bit shy or sensitive, sometimes absent-minded, and sometimes really focused on something... but one thing I'm pretty sure is that curiosity has always been my clearest feature.
PHILOSOPHY
Well, I use to think that humility is the only "minimally wise" general approach to life. Since we human beings are so limited animals, and perceive/read reality in such an individual way (we could say distorted), I think it's about at least being aware of it...
Of course one cannot be humble in all situations, but that's something you learn with time and experiences.
Related to this, I really think that strong beliefs are damaging the world. Most of the times in combination with ego and/or economic interests.
And well, besides all that, I think life's better on the fly... planning too much doesn't make sense to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Seasons I have a flat I mostly host. When I'm travelling I usually do it with my camper van, so I guess I will look for some help/friendship more than places to stay.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Some experiences have been good and some experiences have been even better =) but so far nothing bad at all.
Interests
I love travelling. When you travel on your own your life is full of changes and you live more experiences (and more diverse) in less time. Two main consequences are: 1- you learn a lot. 2- time feels longer. I love both.
I love philosophy. I see myself like some sort of "truth seeker", always trying to understand all around (I actually believe you can never be sure of anything but it's still fun to try). For me, truth is more important than happiness.
And well, now and then I love to chill out: good music, nice chat, cold beer, a good film... whatever. Stress ain't a good thing to live with!
