About Me

Hi Everyone :)

I'm Urszula (a little she-bear, somehow very accurate) but you can call me Ula.

Professionally, I have followed my true vocation and spend a vast part of my life helping adults improve their linguistic skills. It's indeed priceless how much I can learn from others while getting paid for teaching them!

Personally, I can define myself as curious, adventurous, empathetic and independent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to learn new perspectives on life, exchange ideas and see new places through the eyes of locals.

Interests

I absolutely LOVE musicals and I'm more than happy to see them during my trips. What I like most is that each story offers a countless number of interpretations and discovering new ones is real fun. My favourites include The Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Mamma Mia, The Lion King and Les Miserables.

Sometimes I feel the need to make a difference and get involved in various types of charity initiatives, such as donating my hair for women suffering from cancer, teaching Polish as a foreign language to immigrants and refugees or collecting essentials for the poor/homeless. I'm also a fan of modern art, sailing and squash. Nevertheless, I'm good at none :D.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, it's not going to be easy to point out particular genres or titles, because my favourites are changing with the time. I certainly like indie music, dark comedies and novels of manners along with feminist literature.
