Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
I wanna hang a map of the world in my house. Then I'm gonna put pins into all the locations that I've traveled to. But first, I'm gonna have to travel to the top two corners of the map so it won't fall down.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a kind of person who doesn't think happiness is always somewhere, it's all around us but unfortunately in our daily haste we can often take for granted those little things that life is actually all about -like the touch of a silky scarf, the feel of a comfy bed, cosy evenings snuggled up after taking a perfumed bubble bath, the laughter of a child, a fluffy little kitten playing with a ball of string, a starlit sky, red poppies in a lush green field and colourful flying kite...happiness is a feeling inside everyone that is just waiting to unfold. So don't worry, be happy, look on the bright side of things and you'll find that life is so good with a positive mind!
Interessen
I'm a humanitarian and on top of that, I feel like there is so much to know and learn. If we reduce ourselves to people we know and acquaintances, we'll never really understand what it means to live in a diverse world. And I believe that Mark Twain said it best when he said, "Travel is the cure for ignorance."
So studying languages, travelling and meeting new people are among my priorities in life! I should also mention that I'm very much into arts, reading classic literature and...shopping:))

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
An amazing trip to Thailand that started with a colorful umbrella festival in Chiang Mai (northern Thailand) followed by the discovery of a secluded buddhist monastery complex swathed in a lush rainforest up in Chiang Mai mountains, stumbling upon a small hill tribe village and spending a night with a local hmong family, waking up with the most beautiful sunrise my husband and me have ever seen and lots of other amazing things during that trip that culminated in our wedding on Koh-Samui and a honeymoon on Koh-Phi-Phi islands where 'The Beach' movie was shot!...Another memory that comes up to my mind is boating around the floating village of Kompong Phluk in Cambodia where we were staring in awe at those bamboo skyscrapers on high stilts rising a couple meters above the water...Also having breakfast at the table set literally on top of a high tree overlooking magnificent Kamasutra-oriented temples in a little Indian village of Khajuraho...Now I think I could start writing a book on all those other fabulous, incredible experiences so unfamiliar to Western civilization that we had while traveling around Asia!
