ABOUT ME

I am 53 years old, working as a freelance journalist based in Bremen and am interested in meeting new and interesting people.
I am liberal an open minded, love my hometown Bremen and I am particularly interested in the developments in Eastern Europe, especially in Belarus and Kaliningrad - Belarus, because I was there several times 20 years ago, and Kaliningrad, because my ancestors from my fathers side came from there. For this reason I am doing a bit of genealogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In spring 1992 I was in villages evacuated after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. In the summer of 1992, I learned the Belarusian mentality during a three-week holiday.
In 1997 and 1998 I went with the Red Cross to Hungary.
Unforgettable is also my visit to London this year.
