ABOUT ME

It's always entertaining to describe yourself, since you lose the tone of voice you would use to convey anecdotes or make sarcastic statements. I'm a short guy who knows he's short and I use that to my advantage, as the low center of gravity is beneficial to a number of outdoor activities. I'm not exactly a go-getter, but I am a doer. The biggest issue isn't completing my goals, but more finding a goal to complete.
I've rock climbed, gone spelunking, white water rafted, sky dived, driven at heinously high speeds (149 mph), done really stupid things and lived through them, played a large number of sports, and realized I'm no better a person now than I was before I had done any of that. I've huge issues with self-justification in action and purpose, like existentialism mixed with apple sauce but you have no spoon or straw.
I'm an all around amiable fellow. The only time I'll ever make a situation difficult is when I'm not there. Most of my actions are in the name of placidity, as I feel logically most anger is unfounded or at least temporary enough to disregard or filter into some creative form.
I love to draw and write, though I don't do it enough. Most of my creative outlets are more inner monologue or mental imagery, never really transformed into a tangible entity.
Traveling has a mixed role in my mind, as on the one hand I think, "Man! I really want to see as much of the world as I can!" while on the other I'm stuck with, "But seeing the terrestrial earth only equates to about 1/3 of 1/1.3millionths of our most dependable star, which is still a mere blip in my perception of whatever celestial bodies hover beyond the atmosphere." To an extent, contemplation has led me to a virtual philosophic incapacitation, though I can still enjoy life.

At the moment, I have no one place to live, so I can't offer a couch. However, for those couches I sleep on, I shall tell great tales, such that they live through the ages as magnanimous cushions, deserving the utmost reverence (along with their accompanying owners).

Gotten paid $4,400 USD an hour for doing a voice over for a radio spot.

Went through the Alabama International Airport Security Checkpoint wearing nothing but a bathrobe and g-string underwear as a joke (and almost got arrested and missed my flight).

On my way out to CA, my family stopped at a self-serve independent gas pump/station (there really was just a pump there, no attendant). While stepping out of the U-Haul to stretch my legs, I saw a beetle about an inch and a half long scurrying around in a variety of circles until it stopped and started shuttering. I bent down to get a closer look and what looked like a wasp started to emerged from the beetle's back, slowly pushing the wings out of the way and eating the bits of the beetle's head.

Had sex in my university library (it's so big no one would ever be able to find you).
