About Me
Hi,
I am Uli: always excited to explore new stuff and to meet people; listen to their stories, learn new things, and to get inspired about a different way of life. Two years ago I started my new job in Berlin, and still, I am not tired to listen to good electronic music and to explore the city. After trying Acro-yoga, bouldering and LindyHop for the first time I got addicted and Berlin is a good place for all these addictions.
I live in a shared apartment with wonderful roomates; sitting for a tea, or having a beer/wine while philosophising about all sorts of topics like our urban gardening tops and flops, is a perfect end of the day.
And very likely we ll have availability for couchis the coming days (19th to the 27.02.2016)
PHILOSOPHY
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did so. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Distanz schafft Nähe - Nähe schafft Distanz ;-).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS connects people. It 's great to have such an easy opportunity to get to know people from all over the world and to broaden your own horizon without leaving the country. From time to time we open our couch for surfers and this has always been a good experience. For me it means a lot of fun to take care of the people who come, to show them around and to share the little secret spots of Neukölln. My surfing experiences are little, but the times I did it, I had a great time. Thanks to my hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Very intense experiences in my life are definitely festivals, like the big drum at the Boom in Portugal or my stay at Black Rock City. .. Hard to summarize these experiences in a few sentences,... what else?:All the travelling I did so far; every single journey was special on its own, but I will never forget being a monkey baby mum in Ecuador, climbing up to the Hippi Kogis in Colombia , or the first time I caught a wave close to the Peer in San Diego.
