ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm a brazilian girl who lived a while ago in the US. This little experience living abroad made me seriously want to travel all around the world! And I also have always been interested in different cultures, so that's why I'm here in CS. I'm usually easy going and friendly, even though I may be a little shy with people I don't know well sometimes. Don't worry, though, cause a nice chat always puts me in a good mood :)

Try not to regret what you do on this life, because from all you can learn. Respect people from all places and cultures and try to learn how they're different and similar to you. And be honest to yourself, always.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend of mine in California told me about the project a while ago and now I decided to take a look :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Up till now I have only been to some of my city's weekly meetings, but it's always been a rich and interesting experience! I see that people here are really open to know others, which I think it's really cool.

I'm not really able to host anybody right now, sorry! But if you're in town and wanna hang out, let me know!

I like arts & crafts in general, psychology and anthropological studies, dramatics, to chat with new interesting people, traveling and so on...

音乐、电影和书籍

Usually I read a lot about Psychology (what I study in university), especially psychoanalysis. For fun, I enjoy reading all kinds of stuff, from classic authors to popular books (some are Nietzsche, Dostoievski, Douglas Adams, Irvin D. Yalom, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Tolkien, JK Rowling, Pahlaniuk, Graciliano Ramos, Ariano Suassuna, Guimaraes Rosa and so on)... I love movies as well. Some directors I like include Almodovar, Kevin Smith, Hitchcock, Tarantino, Tim Burton and David Fincher. As for music, I like rock, folk, world, metal, classical, Instrumental soundtrack, electronic, industrial (you can have an idea of what I like here: http://www.lastfm.com.br/user/yuliychan)... I don't play anything, but I'm always looking for some new gigs :)
