About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Stop chasing shadows, JUST ENJOY THE RIDE that is MY LIFE!
ABOUT ME
I'm a student, I'm a worker, I'm a traveller and I absolutely want to be a surfer! Better if a couchsurfer! I studied Arabic and German at University for Foreigners in Siena. It's an intercultural faculty for italian and foreign people who want to work in the field of the linguistic social mediation. I know I'm just a starter here, but I really would like to host and be hosted thank to this wonderful idea that is Couch Surfing! Now I live in London and I am giving a chance to my main passion, cooking, so I am working as sous-chef in a tny cute restaurant close Russel Square, we do italian and french cuisine, so if you want to spend good time and have a healthy mediterranean meal, please come to visit us at La Gourmandina!
PHILOSOPHY
I know that it is a cliche but it's still the best: Live and Let live!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Some friends who had already experienced CS advised me to subscribe to CS and I am very glad I did! Now I talk about it all the time!
Interests
Actually I cannot list my interest. I want to explain them: first of all I love cooking for other people, especially for my friends! I really cannot stay away from the kitchen! It's so gratifying for me to see the satisfaction on the faces of those who eat with taste! Isn't it one of the best pleasures in life? Eating and drinking very well!? And if you add good music and the good company of great friends.. What should we expect more from life?
So, I've said good music. Well, I like every kind of music. Usually I listen to everything because indeed I'm really open. I always ask my friends to give me new CDs or to prepare playlists with their favourite music. So that I can choose what I prefer, but actually I listen for example to rockabilly, classic rock, drumm&bass, dubstep, electronic and psy-trance music, classic musicians, gipsy-punk, folk-celtic, reggae, even some pop music!
Then what about my studies: foreign languages. I want to be able to communicate. I want to have the skills to do that. And for this reason I want to travel, to experience new countries' lifestyle!
But I still don't know if this is going to influence my future job because untill now I worked as cook, as nanny, as organizer in different fields (for example in film festivals)... So the only thing I know is that I need more life experience to understand what is hiding behind my future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Since now?! It's a question too hard..
I can think only of a short period of my joung life when I used to live without any kind of worries, with some of my most important friends in the countryside in Tuscany. It was as if we had the wrong time, free and hippie! But maybe it was just a daydream...
Teach, Learn, Share
CS University? Wow, why doesn't it count as real degree?
As I've already said I am really open-minded! If it were possible in one lifetime to know all the cultures of the world, and the history behind them, and the people who trasmit them.. Well, I cannot finish this sentence, it sounds too philosophical and "pretty" impossible. But it's also thank to this website that we have the opportunity event to try.
