About Me

Ulises Piza, CCO

Ulises has over 20 years experience in an Executive position running a family owned business in Palm Springs, CA. His responsibilities included but not limited to; operations, planning, oversight of staff, managing records, social media and community relations. Having also worked as a Correctional Officer at Chakawala State Prison, he saw several injustices that mirror what youth experience in the Juvenile Justice System, as many youth unfortunately bleed into the adult system. His passion to support JJI is immense. He is going into his second year supporting Juvenile Justice Impact in mainly directing, producing, marketing and postings on several social media sites for the very successful podcast. To date he has produced nearly 60 episodes and community outreach for guests in addition to applying on several social media outlets. Ulises speaks three (3) languages and has reached out to Columbia, Mexico and Argentina speaking to guests on youth related topics for the JJI Podcasts and also connecting with schools. He has also sent out JJI gift packages and supporting fieldtrips in other countries from JJI. Ulises is a strong supporter of JJI with his business and justice background. He has a daughter and several nieces and nephews and a genuine love for youth having the best opportunities available to them. He has devoted countless hours and is very passionate about JJI and its success in helping at risk youth, underserved families our community locally, nationally and internationally.
