About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to rediscover my beloved motherland and the neighbor countries too

ABOUT ME

I'm an open-minded and curious person, adventurous and easy-going.
I grow up in Jurmala, Latvia, and I know it well.

I'm a biologist, working in the Neuroscience field. After a year studying in Cologne, Germany, it changed my vision of life forever and now I want to see the whole world and have more experience living abroad. Whenever I can, I travel, go outdoors. Biking and hiking? You will always hear yes!

I love my work, I mean the time I spend in the lab. And it's always great to meet and talk with smart people, share experience and knowledge.

I like jazz, classical music, going to museums, reading books, making some food..and do some sports. I try to find a balance to all of these things and I think I mostly do.

PHILOSOPHY

Be yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I required a place for me and my friends to stay in New York... so I decided to participate CS! It turned out as one of the best experiences ever. I have met CS persons who are good friends to me now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was in New York and it was incredibly good!

Three in Lyon - wonderful time!

I loved the stay in Berlin- I attended a conference but before I had some time to explore it again. Always great to be in Berlin~!

And as a host, I have many times gave my couch to friends visiting me from Germany.
