Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
never let a day go by without finding something to be happy about!
ABOUT ME
I'm curious, friendly, talkative, happy and easy-going. I love meeting new people, learning from different cultures, exploring new countries and having good conversations.
I am very open-minded and make friends pretty easily.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to take joy of the little things in life because they are the ones that make life worth living. I truly believe that happiness comes from within every one of us and that you have to make every day worth living and try to focus on each precious moment without worrying too much about the future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To me CouchSurfing is much more than just free accomodation. It's about meeting new people, exchanging cultural knowledge and creating a more open society where we can trust each other again. I go to work and I can afford to stay in a hostel or a hotel if I want to, so it's not just about saving money while traveling (of course, that's a plus that comes with it). I hope anyone staying with me shares this perspective :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new to this community but so far the few experiences that I've had have been very positive. I find this a great way to meet new people you otherwise would never interact with.
Interests
My joys in life include my two little dogs, friends, music (I go to a lot of concerts and gigs), traveling, good books, great food and sports.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: pretty much anything goes but I listen to rock quite a lot and indie music in general. Lately I've been listening a lot to bands like Foo Fighters, Von Hertzen Brothers, Rubik, The National, Interpol, Danko Jones, Band of Horses, Biffy Clyro and PJ Harvey.
Movies: all movies that I've seen so far by Pedro Almodóvar and Quentin Tarantino are my favourites.
It's easier for me to list favourite authors instead of books, so here goes: John Irving, Paul Auster, Siri Hustvedt, Gabriel García Marquez, Henning Mankell, Stieg Larsen, Michael Cunningham, Khaled Hosseini, Anna Gavalda, just to name a few :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Sleeping under the Kenyan sky with nothing else but a mosquito net covering me.
-Seeing the sunset at Pie de la Cuesta, México.
-Having the most amazing meal on the beach of Tulum cooked on an open fire by a Hawaian surfer that I had become friends with one day earlier. He had caught the fish for the two of us with his harpoon, I bought some lentilles, garlic and tomato and for a dessert he climbed on a palm tree to get us some coconuts. No other meal has been as memorable!
-Seeing monster robots in an underground (literally) exhibition in Berlin.
-Surviving a plane crash.
