ABOUT ME

I love people, meeting new people is what i thrive on. I like to give as much as I receive, to keep everything balanced. I like to be active (playing ultimate frisbee multiple times a week) but yet save some time and energy for nightlife. I like to DJ on a regular basis at some local clubs in Iowa City, but I have also done a huge show (500 people) in madison wisconsin which was awesome... my dj name is PharmDJ - check it out on facebook :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try on a daily basis to promote the ideals that CS promotes. I also love to stop in at CS meetings in random towns that I am just traveling through. It's great to see all the people who have hosted hundreds of travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While staying at a friends place in Colorado I met his roommates' boyfriend who was also a CSer and also going to Austin Texas that next week. We exchanged CS stories and ended up seeing some concerts together! It was awesome. I love how small this world is becoming!

Had my first hosting experience while living in stockholm! A good little american/australian cross world connection.

Interests

Planning my next trip on either a concert or an ultimate frisbee tournament. Doing my best to keep my life motto (see personal philosophy)
When I travel, I really like to indulge in the culture and meet locals as opposed to normal touristy attractions. Those are the things i love the most.
I also LOVE ultimate frisbee, it is the perfect sport to go along with Couchsurfing. The culture is wonderful and the people are always great. You should play!
I also LOVE to DJ. I go by PharmDJ (you can find me on facebook) and I usually do small dance nights at some clubs. However, just recently i did a show in an amazing theater in Madison, WI and 500+ ultimate players and fans came out to dance! It was the most amazing thing I have ever done in my life... and everyone had a sweet time!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
