There, I said it. For the past ten years, I I've gotten into the habit of saving up my time off from work into big chunks and using it to go to some of the more interesting and/or dubious corners of the globe. Photography is another passion of mine, which I particularly enjoy when I am far from the familiar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I reflect on my travels and think of the literally hundreds of strangers who have given me directions, shown me their city, sat me down for tea, provided me a meal, or otherwise contributed to my travels, and CouchSurfing is a great way to pay that back. I love talking with people who understand wanderlust and the thrill of new places.
