Hello everybody! This is Ulysses, a professional hitchhiker and pizza-maker from Italy. I like to spend most of my free time traveling from one city to another, tirelessly trying to discover new food scenes or connecting with backpackers from around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I may be new here, but I have been surfing couches for quite sometime already. Throughout previous hitchhiking trips, I was blessed by the kind hospitality of other fellow travelers I encountered along the way (some of which I ended up hosting back home in Italy). After feeling inspired by a friend’s couchsurfing stories, I decided to set up this account, thinking that this wide community of travelers and hosts would help me better connect with locals and enrich my adventures abroad.
