ABOUT ME

Hi! We're Mark and Nicole, newlyweds who have just moved to Miami from Washington State. Mark is a strong and manly security guard, and Nicole is a nerdy medical student with the University of Miami. We both enjoy new adventures (today we went ocean kayaking at a state park here in Miami), so if you decide to stay with us, we will most likely be your willing accomplices in whatever ideas you dream up. For fun, we are Geocachers (we can take you to find a cache or two if you're interested) and are avid board game players. If you bring your favorite board game with you and teach us how to play it, we will love you forever. If you don't bring your favorite board game when you come stay with us, you may be forced to play something like Settlers of Catan or Lord of the Rings Risk. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When Nicole is not studying, we are available to host. Since Nicole is often studying, this means that we usually are only available to host on school holidays or during easier class units.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you about Geocaching if you're the outdoorsy type. If you're nerdy like us, we can teach you how to play board games like Munchkin or Ticket To Ride. If you're scientifically-minded and are interested in learning about medicine, and if you let us know ahead of your visit, Nicole may be able to take you with her to her school so you can sit through some classes and see what medical school is like.
