About Me
SF-based software engineer who loves balancing city life with outdoor adventures. When I’m not building things at work, you’ll find me traveling to new places, sampling local cuisines, and meeting interesting people along the way. Big soccer fan—whether it’s playing, watching, or just debating the best teams.
I’m also all about live music, concerts, and festivals—bonus points if you can name the last great show you went to. In my downtime, I’m hiking or hitting the slopes on a snowboard. Always up for a good conversation, a fun activity, or discovering a new favorite spot. Let’s make some plans!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to truly experience a place is through the people who call it home. Learning about a culture by spending time with locals adds a depth to travel that guidebooks can’t offer. Plus, I love meeting new people! Exploring new places with friends I make along the way makes every adventure even more memorable. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay—it’s about connecting, sharing experiences, and building friendships that cross borders.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
My taste in music is pretty eclectic, ranging from rock and rap to chill vibes and EDM. Lately, I’ve been deep in an EDM phase, especially into deep house and techno. Lane 8, Deadmau5, and Fred Again are on heavy rotation. On the rap side, I’m all about Kendrick, J Cole, and A$AP Rocky—nothing beats their storytelling and energy.
Books:
I’m not a bookworm, but I do try to average about a book a month. The last one that really stuck with me was 1984—timeless and thought-provoking. Right now, I’m making my way through Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. I also enjoy Murakami’s surrealism and Malcolm Gladwell’s knack for making you see things differently.
Movies:
I’m a sucker for movies that make you think, with sharp scripts and incredible performances. Favorites include Interstellar, The Dark Knight trilogy, and Django Unchained. But I also have a soft spot for quirky comedies—I’ve probably watched Don’t Look Up and The Hangover a dozen times each and still crack up every time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done is fulfill my mom’s dream of visiting Switzerland. She’s an avid traveler who’s always wanted to experience its beauty, and being able to make that happen for her was an incredibly special and rewarding moment for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’d love to share stories from my travels, tips on snowboarding, or even some music recommendations if you're into EDM or rap. I’m always eager to learn about local culture, discover hidden gems in your city, and try new cuisines. Whether it’s a good conversation, exploring together, or exchanging experiences
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm known for making some of the best chai (Indian tea) you'll ever have. I also have an eclectic music collection, plenty of stories to share, and enjoy engaging in stimulating conversations on a wide range of topics.
