About Me

My father was Japanese, my mother is from Honduras. From early on in my childhood I've been exposed to a multicultural view of the world around, fascinated by the similarities and differences between cultures and regions all over the world. I enjoy meeting up with various types of people and see what I can learn from them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent a month abroad visiting my father in Japan during my teens, and as an alien on another country, I can personally say how grateful one is of a welcoming face, something I hope to repay through couchsurfing.

Interests

I enjoy hanging out for a coffee or dinner with friends... I also enjoy all kinds of sports, especially football (soccer) and baseball which I have played at an amateur level at various times in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Perhaps my favorite pastime is watching movies, although I mostly go to the cinema to watch the latest Hollywood blockbuster, I also enjoy relaxing at home with a comedy or drama film. I enjoy Reading the classical novels and texts, and I have a soft spot for sci-fi masterpieces like Asimov's Foundation series. My taste in music is very eclectic, ranging from classical music pieces to alternative rock bands, including some pop/tropical latin american music as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The last time I went to Japan was the most jawdropping, eyepopping, mind-blowing experience ever. Everything seems so different from hy hometown that I could have sworn I stepped onto a time machine rather tan an airplane. I saw the potential of humanity as a society with common goals, were wealth is plentiful and peace is an underrated subproduct of daily life...

Teach, Learn, Share

I do believe that one can learn as much as one can teach other when you treat everyone as your peer. Human experience can be shared but not duplicated everyone has their own views and opinions of the things around them, I find that a fascinating topic.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a simple mannered young man, I can share my experiences, life stories and cultural backgground with any host I shall encounter.

Countries I’ve Visited
