About Me
Hi, everyone!
I'm Umi Tokushige, half Thai and half Japanese.
Currently living in Sydney, Australia as a holiday worker, but I will start my Journey to Europe from 10 th of August.
I love swimming or surfing at the beach, hiking in the mountains, bicycling, running,,,etc.
So basically I love nature! Also I like to see historical architectures.
I would say I am more outdoor person than indoor.
Especially, since my host family (I met them through Couchsurfing) thought me how to surf in California, I'm in loved with Surfing and beach!!
Even though I introduced myself as an extrovert person, I like spending time at home as well. I used to be super introvert person when i was a teenager. I was really into Anime and Manga and spending whole of my day at home. Also, as I mentioned before, I'm interested in history as well!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I like meeting new people, especially people who grew up in different cultures.
I'm interested in learning cultures and languages. The other reason is because my parents were hosting lots of foreigners when I used to live with them and It was so fun!
The last reason is simply because i want to save money while I'm traveling :D

I would like to hear your story! Simply it's always fun to listen to the background of people . Also, I like learning culture and languages too ! :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm able to teach Japanese and a little bit of Thai( I'm not sure if I am the right person though hahaha) and I would also love to cook Japanese food as well!! (if I can get or bring Japanese seasonings...). It would be nice if we can share the table together! :)
