ABOUT ME

The first thing people notice about me is my smile, its a universal ice breaker!I am an easy going traveler, can easily fit in a corner with my sleeping bag and eat about anything not moving. I can also be forced to splurge to spend a night in a five star hotel, or try an 8-course dinner in a french reataurant - all for the experience of it!!!I want to travel and see the world, meet different people, learn their ways, eat their food and drink their beers and alcohol. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted surfers when I was staying in Las Vegas, Nevada.Active member of CS Manila attending meet-ups, out-of-town activities and the rare out-of-the-country trips. Hopefully to have a good place in Manila to accomodate surfers :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met CSers when I was living in Las Vegas. Enjoyed the company of "Las Vegas Baby" CSers, and people surfed my hotel room whenever I stayed on the strip!Couchsurfed our way to the first CS Camp Out in Colorado, then hitched hiked our way to Indiana with another CSer.Met tons of CSers in Sao Paulo and a couple of people made our stay extra wonderful by showing us around town and one of them even took us to the beach about an hour away!CS Manila is a very active and healthy group. Most of my best friends are met thru this group since I came back in the Philippines in February 2010. I have seen more of the Philippines thru their help!!!!Surfed in Busan and Seoul when CS Manila invaded South Korea!!

Interests

Love movies and reading books. Love to see new places, try different restaurants and unique foods. I'll try almost anything as long as it is not moving, or it has no eyes staring at you :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Overland trips!Had an amazing time traveling thru Africa camping our way from Uganda to South Africa. And more recently an overland trip in Latin America from Ecuador down to Chile up to Argentina and Brazil. It was WONDERFUL! Next stop would be an overland in Asia?I also had a fantastic time volunteering in Nepal teaching kids math and English. It is a very heart warming experience wherein I gained a new family (my foster family) and the whole community as my friend!! It makes a different travel experience which is not far from the couch surfing objective.
