Overview
About Me
I'm originally from Istanbul, Turkey and currently in San Francisco Bay Area for work. Although I am working hard during weekdays always open to fun events! Don't hesitate to hit me up
I prefer to do things rather than buying things. Except kindle. Kindle is a well spent money!
---------------- ---------------- -------------------
Traveling is my passion. When I'm doing that I prefer walking to feel everything to learn and embrace what a place offers.
Luckily I have a blessing of a good memory so please feed me with interesting knowledge.
Some tell me arrogant, some tell me wise-ass, but where is the fun without mockery?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the locals know the secrets the places way better than any other. To experience this knowledge to embrace the places I've been, which is one of my favorites, I'm here on couchsurfing.
I've travelled in United States and Mexico with couchsurfing and met with great people. I continue to extend my network all over the world with the most essential element: People. Let's grab a coffee/drink and do something fun!
Interests
I feel like my interests are not focused on mainly a few topics. Even though I'm an engineer by education, I love to read about real life, psychology, economy, marketing etc. I believe I'm a good observant and knowledge is the most powerful tool in the world. That's why I love learn, especially from others' experience.
I don't like to watch sports unless it involves a friend activity. But definitely I'm into doing that.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to every kind of music. I don't have a favorite genre but my playlist mostly consists of EDM and Popular music. But I love to watch live performances of every kind.
X-Men are the far best superheroes ever and I prefer Batman over Superman.
Action movies with a twist plot, that challenges viewer's mind are always appreciated. And I should admit, I can't watch horror movies, they terrify me:)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Narromine, New South Wales, Australia when I was in high school as an exchange student. The town had a population around 2000 people, which is like a street's population in Istanbul. It was really fun and pragmatic to leave in the countryside for even a small time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am here to answer your questions about Turkey fellows. I should say that Turkey is definitely more than what you see in the news with a diverse cultural background having essences of lots of other cultures. Well when it comes to food, I know you all are familiar with Döner or Kebap, but rest assure we've got better guns than that.
Other than that I like to read miscellenaous items so I feel myself ready to discuss almost every topic. Don't worry, if I don't know or don't have an idea, I can admit that; I will not resist on it like an idiot.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Number one: My thoughts and experiences
Number two: A beer, cup of coffee, a glass of another local drink
Number three: Food version of previous item. The list would be much longer.
