Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
facilitating joy and having fun
ABOUT ME
i'm just a guy who likes stuff. I'm a sometime geek, luddite, artist, idiot savant, philanthropist, clown, idealist, author, amnesiac, endurance racer, student, teacher, artist, lover, and participant. I try not to be a consumer, observer, reactionary, rageaholic, obsessive-compulsive, liar, hater, or annoyance. I'm usually happy and busy and interested.
PHILOSOPHY
i just try to have fun and leave the world and people i interact with in better shape than i found 'em

Music, Movies, and Books
i like books more than music more than movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i rode my bike from austin, texas to anchorage alaska one summer and helped fundraise a couple hundred thousand dollars for cancer research. it was the best thing i've ever done. you can read about it here: http://w.tf/texas4000
Teach, Learn, Share
i ditched my car and became a full time bicycle rider a few years ago. am happy to advise folks on a similar path (even if just becoming more bikey and less car-y, the journey is worthwhile even if the destination is not the one i chose.)
i used to teach kids martial arts and could probably still find some of that knowledge lurking in the back of my mind.
