I'm hip, in a curmudgeonly kind of way. I work in politics and follow that whole deal pretty closely, but my real passion is the daily comics. (Ed. note: not really, but kinda; at least, to a surprising extent). I can hold up my end of a conversation.

My house has a pretty constant stream of couchsurfers in and out. That's pretty cool.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been all on the people-staying-with-us side of things, and less on the depending-on-the-kindness-of-strangers side, so I'm looking forward to going places that aren't my house. The people who have come through have been pretty awesome - *sniff* I love you guys *sniffle*.

While mobile homes are regulated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, smaller travel trailers fall under the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation. This means, by and large, that travel trailers are hideously unsafe to live in. CoughKatrinaCough.
