About Me

29 transmasculine dude (don't really pass as male yet though), so my legal name will be on any documentation (Jess/Jessica).

I enjoy travelling (obviously), live music (punk/indie/rock usually) and nerdy stuff like conventions but don't really enjoy nightclubs or going to bars for the sake of it as I don't drink, smoke or do drugs and get intimidated being around rowdy people outside of gigs.

I'm a meat-eater but would sort myself out for food and eat it outside of the host's home if preferred (bar a late night snack). I need time to recharge after being social so need time to myself though unless there's a gig on I don't tend to go out in the evenings much when I'm away. I also tend to arrive late thanks to cheap evening flights.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Pop Punk, Ska/Ska-punk and generally things along the rock spectrum. I like seeking out local bands. I love some angry/angsty music and upbeat slightly-punky fun music and twee indie music and garage bands and, as much of a cliche it is, some cheesy pop.

Films: Comedy. Supernatural/Horror. Some rom-coms/romance. Kid/family films.

Games: Beat-em-up, Simulation, Rhythm action, racing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did my first trip abroad on my own. Been on stage with Plain White Ts. Followed a tour for a few days.

Teach, Learn, Share

There's a great little comic shop in Norwich, England called 'Abstract Sprocket' :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm learning guitar, and I may be able to teach you something if you're an absolute beginner but if you're already learning, you're probably better than me! If you like the same sort of music I may be able to give you some new bands to listen to.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
