ABOUT ME

I am a bookworm and a little bit of a geek. I like comics and trashy films and artsy films and good novels and eating different kinds of new things, especially when I'm traveling. I am a little lazy, especially in the winter.

But in the summer I do like to wander or bike aimlessly around, sit by lakes and rivers. Sometimes I do sports but it's only a reluctant must since I have to be somewhat fit for the approaching zombie apocalypse.

I like to go out, too. Preferably talking unimportant shit about life while drinking beer at some dive. Or drinking wine and playing trivia games. But dancing is also fun! I used to go to punk gigs a lot, but since I moved to Berlin I've been mostly going to dance house/electro kind of music.

Politically I'm a fun-loving feminist and my "heart beats on the left" but I am not into too heated discussions about politics.

I study literature (almost done with my MA!) and I love it. I also write short stories and struggle with a novel manuscript.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd go for a coffee/wine & Trivial Pursuit (when it's raining) or explore Berlin's unknown corners (on a good weather) with you - hosting is a little too complicated bc of lack of space at the moment.

I'm also looking for people to hang out or something while traveling.

Interests

Coffee, bad coffee, cats, silly cat videos on the internet, reading really really good books, comics like Preacher, zombies do interest me also very very much. Once I played a zombie in amusement park during their Halloween nights. Also getting a job would interest me a lot at the moment!

Music, Movies, and Books

Recently I've read good books by Truman Capote, Michael Chabon, Marisha Pessl, Johanna Sinisalo, Lauren Beukes, Chuck Palahniuk, Jo Nesbø, Stieg Larsson, Harper Lee, Pasi Ilmari Jääskeläinen, Toni Morrison, Brett Easton Ellis, Jeffrey Eugenides and Jennifer Egan to name a few.

I've seen so many good movies I just don't feel like listing them. Some all time favorites are Fight Club, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Silence of the Lambs.

I'm not that much into being the rock police. I like just normal stuff. Depends. Live I like punk and ska and reggae and electro and stuff you can dance to. At home I also listen to pop-ish things but I'm not really an MTV girl. Like a friend of mine said: "All my idols have already died of an overdose."
