About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be the badass babe I would have nervously looked up to as my orthodontia-armed tween self

ABOUT ME

Living in Portland because I love rivers, forests, bikes, beer, art, music - like everyone else, duh! Queer feminist activist and bona fide dance party starter. I enjoy making dinner and breakfast. I like food in general. I eat vegetarian and cook veg but am okay with people preparing meat so long as they clean it up! I like to have meaningful convos and laugh a lot and climb on buildings and watch the trains go by.

PHILOSOPHY

Take things seriously and have a fantastic sense of humor

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed lots (though I went through my travel buddy's account a lot so my profile doesn't attest!); haven't hosted much through CS, but always taking in travelers and want to utilize CS more now that I've had so many positive experiences on the traveler end of things!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used CS a few times after studying abroad in Morocco and traveling around Italy, Spain and Portugal. After graduating from college, my BFFL and I did an epic cross-country roadtrip in the US of A and couchsurfed several times, all of which were very positive and interesting experiences! I really enjoy the opportunity CS presents for people to share their stories and to get an insider's perspective on a city. I also really just enjoy chatting with new peeps and can pretty much sleep anywhere, so it really works for me.

Canoed the boundary waters in northern Minnesota/Canada and listened to loons singing on a black lake under an infinite amount of twinkly stars
