ABOUT ME

I've got a small practice in Troy, Ny, and I'm trying (just like everyone else) to decide what to do with my remaining seventy years. I've got a fat cat, and a cute member of the opposite sex running around my house. I count myself pretty lucky.

PHILOSOPHY

there is a time for everything... understanding the impermanence of life, try and remember where you are. Refresh and inventory your life, otherwise you won't appreciate what you have, or see what changes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new. Organizations are tricky, and usually involve politicking, which isn't one of my strong suits. I'm a hardworking attorney, and know the ins and outs of intellectual property and cyber(although I wish the word would go away)law.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Recently-
1) surfed at elementary school friend's apt in montreal,
2) hosted Grace for one night
3) a few years ago a traveling frenchman came along for a weekend of extravagance.

Interests

Reading, I'm learning again about macintoshes, computers (not too techy though, I don't get those ones and zeroes under my fingernails). I listen to a crazy amount of music, and I'm a good cook.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Won a contest- Found the grey m&m, lived in st. croix as a baby, taught english as a second language to 30 adults, cooked for a ranch in colorado.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am what I have learned, in part. I have useful skills, like cooking, law, photography, writing. You never really know what you know until you try to teach it to someone else. I used to be a teacher for english as a second language, and a literacy tutor for elementary school.
