PHILOSOPHY

Chop the wood. Tend the garden. Do the dishes. The most mundane things can become the greatest experiences when done with the act of love, for their own sake, and not for any expected outcome or desire for anything to be any other way than the way it is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a lil man that was walking across the United States. Hosted a girl from Quebec that sang French songs around the bonfire for hours. Loved it. Hosted the sweetest girl from St. Louis that helped me get my first garden going. I hosted a girl that made a trip around the US to land back in Colorado. We went out to the retreat during winter. Hosted a friend and her lil buddy Yukon. We had an amazing night that went well into the morning before we realized how much time flew by. Hosted a girl for her first camping experience.

I have had about 10 people change their plans for personal reasons and cancel out, which is totally fine with me, whatever works.

I traveled for years. Hitchhiking, staying with people. i have always been drawn to Intentional communities and helping to build community and helping to get places off the grid using alternative energy. I currently host people at my house. I have had all good experiences from Couch surfers. I meet really cool people.
