Music, Movies, and Books
I've really been enjoying carioca and cuban music while I'm at the park lounging in the sun. Also really liked Azaelia Banks' last album, and I love listening to the Beatles when I'm on a road trip.
Some movies I watched recently that I enjoyed: Grand Budapest Hotel, Mad Max, I Origins. For TV shows I like Bob's Burgers, Sense8. Books are a great passion of mine as I studied English literature in college. I like grand adventure books like Shantaram, or books about a specific skillset/passion like 'Cutting for Stone'. I am trying to read more nonfiction, including recently 'Thinking, Fast and Slow'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I bungee jumped from the highest bungee in North America, situated just outside of Ottawa, Canada! It was scary but thrilling.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make a good chocolate cake, some simple french foods like omelette, mixed salad and vinaigrette. I can help you with your resume/CV and preparing for interviews (I've done a lot of them and love helping people with that stuff). I can teach you some fun phrases in English, French, or Spanish.
I am looking to learn about eastern european culture (my grandmother is Serbian), kiteboarding, downhill biking and other extreme sports, meditation and lucid dreaming, dancing (any kind!).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share travel stories from over 30 countries I've been to! I can share my favorite websites and online resources, I can write a story for you, help you with any essays or written materials for your classes. I can help you prepare for a show or a date by relaxing with some improv games. I can share with you my knowledge of healthy eating and exercising.
