ABOUT ME

I love making art, and music, and strange sounds and sights, often using computers in some part. I like left-field music and the people that go to those kinds of gigs.

I spend my time designing and making artworks and soundworks and video, contracting as a software developer / tecchie nerd, reading art mags / science mags / philosophy books, listening and seeking new music, and hanging out with my freinds and girlfreind here in Dalston, London.

I try to be a 'good ear' to my freinds and family, and often end up trying to help people make choices and / or practical improvements to thier lives. I often play the 'big brother' role, keeping an eye on my bro, sis, or mates.

When I'm in a new place or meeting new people, I like being taken out of my 'comfort zone', trying new stuff, yes-please attitude. I have the typically English mildly wry sense of humour, and sometimes find myself explaining jokes... don't worry it's all meant with a smile ;)

I've been becoming more outgoing and open in recent years, which has been great. I'm new to couch-surfing, dead keen to make a go of it as it all sounds like loads of fun!

PHILOSOPHY

Get what you can/want out of life and try to help others do the same. After all, none of it makes any real sense anyway.

I haven't been participating, until now. I was a bit afraid.

I'm taking the plunge and looking for couch-shares in Chicago over the next few weeks. Hopefully that will eradicate my fears and I will participate more back in London.
