ABOUT ME

I am a 25-year-old guy from Amsterdam, where I studied history and philosophy (the latter also in Berlin). I also work as a stand-up comedian and freelance journalist. I write a monthly column for a national newspaper in which I connect the news with philosophy. I am the chief editor of an online magazine called hard//hoofd (www.hardhoofd.com) where a large group of young people writes journalistic pieces but is also occupied with artforms like movies, photography, music and prose. I am someone who thinks highly of intelligence but also thinks that noone should take themselves too seriously. You have to be able to laugh about how ridiculous you are.
