About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm on a mission to be happy....oh and Save the planet:D
ABOUT ME
"All about you" is always a daunting task. I am a person who has been transformed (or atleast modified) by my current travel adventure. I have been Wwoofing (volunteering on Organic Farms in exchange for food and shelter) for 2 months with my cousin, Massiel. We've been having a blast and getting to know a part of the world I've never seen before. I love to laugh and make jokes and sometimes they are good....most times they are corny or cheesy but I would rather live with the heart of a 12 year old than die at 40 from a heart attack. I love life and want to live it as much as possible because as cliche as it might sound, you only get one chance at living a good one.
PHILOSOPHY
Why do I live my life????? I live my life because I want to be happy. My sole purpose in life is to be happy. Whether thats traveling the world and meeting new and interesting people for the rest of my life, I'm ok with that. I don't have to make a lot of money or drive fancy cars or have expensive clothes to be happy....I'm actually against consumerism and feel people need to own less things, live in smaller houses and evolve into socially responsible people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I must admit I've heard about CS for a few years now but never signed up because I was living with my mom at the time (thats no fun) and I was in the middle of nowhere, Florida (who wants to go there???:()
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never been couchsurfing but I recently met two girls from New York as well who were going to couch surf....hopefully it turns out well and I know a few hosts
Interests
I love MUSIC, and watching really good Movies and reading. I am a vegetarian for the sake of limiting animal cruelty and deaths. I dont want anything suffering or dying in general so that I can feed myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is "Rage of Angels" by Sydney Sheldon (old book...i know) I'm currently reading The Great Gatsby (it's been on my to-do list for ages. and I JUST finished "Eating Animals" ( if your on the verge of turning vegetarian, this book with kick you on the wwwwaayyy other side). Music, I enjoy anything by The Beatles but other than that, it's a toss up between old soul, rock,, alternative, R & B and maybe even a little country music
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Brazil for a year when I was 16 and saw Iguacu Falls (10x better than Niagra Falls). I've seen the genius of one man as he tries to change the world around him by making things greener and more earth-friendly. I've squished grapes with my feet to make wine. And I've made wine in an Organic Italian Vineyard on one of the most beautiful and picturesque mountains in Italy.
Teach, Learn, Share
Within the past couple of months I've learned more about being self-sufficient as i could possibly have imagined. I've learned how to bake my own bread, how to grow my own produce, how to make jams and jellies. I know Spanish if anyone is interested in that. I know there is no such thing as breeds of chicken in america.....Theres only one genetically modified version of chickens....sad (I do know much more random, sometimes useless facts that don't seem to come out unless its in random situations....go figure)
