About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Write up a storm in San DIego. Sorry, Sorry, did I say storm? I meant story.
ABOUT ME
I'm heading to San Diego for the Clarion short story workshop, and I'm going via LA, so I'd like to meet (and stay with) some people in Southern California on my way there.
"Easy-going" seems to be the adjective most often applied to me by others. Sometimes on a post-it note. I'm an arts/english student, a child care worker, a guitarist, a writer, and a world-class procrastinator. If you surf with me, know that your presence will be serving the noble cause of me avoiding things I'm supposed to be doing.
I live with three other people in a falling-to-pieces old house.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My old housemate Hamish had a couch-surfing account when he lived here, so we had several nice people from various places crashing on our couch
Interests
I like playing lots of instruments - many of them badly, but I'm okay at guitar.
I read a lot. To qualify that statement would probably require an essay.
Likewise with music. I like music.
I lean to the left. Politically speaking, that is. I don't have different sized legs or anything.
I'm a bit of a geek. I like adventure games. I haven't roleplayed in many years but when I did I preferred the more avant garde stuff. Not that I have anything against orcs and dungeons, if done well.
My favourite word is "crepuscular". I think that is probably Mervyn Peake's fault.
Do I need to say something here about travel? Probably not.
