I enjoy yoga; reading; learning about politics, law, biology, psychology, lots of things; writing in general and writing poetry in particular; and self-improvement. I like to start new hobbies more than I like to finish them haha. I'm still in a stage of exploration :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I like to read historical yet magical books, so historical fiction and magic realism are right up my alley. That's why Isabel Allende is my favorite author of all time. I think about her books The House of The Spirits and Inez of My Soul all the time. I also love Toni Morrison. Her book The Bluest Eye completely changed the way I view pain and trauma.

Music: Just about anything but country will do. As long as I can dance to it, I will like it.

Movies: I don't like movies as much as I like books, so I don't have much to put here. I'm always open to suggestions!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed to the top of Mt. Misen in Miyajima alone through sporadic rain, and found a lovely rainbow when I got to the top.
