Overview
About Me
I am a quiet, fun-loving, friendly sort of person who loves to read, travel and paint and meet new people all over the world. Ever since I was a kid, I had a passion to explore, whether it was new ways to express myself with art or a new place I was always curious. Ever since I could earn by doing part-time jobs I started traveling on my own and have already visited most of the cities and unexplored areas in my own country. I have also traveled to India, Nepal, Thailand, and since starting my master's in Heritage Conservation and Site management in Germany, I have also traveled a good portion of Europe and plan to see more of it in the future. Right now, I am in Egypt for the next 6 months (as a part of my master's program) and plan to travel as much as possible while also hosting fellow travelers at my home. I love meeting new people and would genuinely love to get to know fellow couch surfers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always knew about couch surfing but ever since I came to Egypt I actually got to know a lot of the people who are in the couch surfing community and I immediately wanted to be a part of it. Each and every one of the people who I met were wholesome and amazing and I got to know a lot about different cultures and customs from all over the world. I decided to join couch surfing because I want to get to know more people like this and be a part of the community both as a host and as a fellow couch surfer.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste kind of changes seasonally/ annually, right now it's The Beatles. My favorite movie so far is a Bengali movie by Satyajit Ray called "Agontuk" which means "Stranger" in English, this movie is all about wanderlust. And my favorite book is "The God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Paragliding in Nepal was pretty amazing. But also being able to come to Egypt and actually living here which was a childhood dream of mine is also pretty amazing to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about different cultures and maybe even make different cuisines, I can teach words in Bengali or even how to draw.. and I would love to share my own recipes from my country and my experiences as a female traveler and of course my history and culture.
