About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Milwaukee, wi

ABOUT ME

I live in Seattle or at least my couch is in Seattle. I travel a lot teaching Remote Medicine to fun people all over the Pacific Northwest who are headed out to wild places with kids or adults. When I'm not working I am likely climbing the glaciated mountains in the neighborhood or reading about natural history or sustainable agriculture and energy. I'm definitely a science dork, but I love having a good time, exploring new places, wild or urban, and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to explore and appreciate all the beautiful wild places of the world and to learn from what the natural world has to teach. I am always trying to bring those lessons to others who don't have such opportunities or desires.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I am home, my couch is your couch and I am happy to show anyone around the parks of Seattle. I definitely know more about the plants and ecosystems of the area that about the streets and the bars. But I'm still happy to explore those too, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a many of couch while traveling and meeting people but I am relatively new to Couchsurfing via the internet. Everyone I have met has been amazing.
