About Me
I am made up of so many elements, minuscule parts and components which again is in a constant flow ever changing to a different form. Against this backdrop of how I exist in a totality, I find it difficult to confine myself in just a few words. Let us meet and explore each other. 💙
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to read a lot of books, now I have found something more interesting that I can't get enough of reading, people 😊
Interests
I love to contemplate a lot, just lie down on my bed with a warm blanket or sit on the top of building watch sunsets and moonrise or watch the flow of river and wonder, I scribble too only as a way to express what I feel inside, I haven't written something concrete, just a few short stories, poems and random thoughts, I intend to put it all together in a blog and write more and if I dont do that yet I can go back to contemplating, :),
I love the mountains, I can't seem to get enough of it, there is something magical and mystical high up there and I look forward to more hikes and longer time in the hills and mountians.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music has always been there, like a friend who you can reach anytime and anywhere. I listen to all kind of music as long as it isn't too loud. I listen to a lot of Passenger these days. I also shuffle between Bob Dylan, The tallest man on earth, damien rice, the classic slow rock, I love folk nepali songs. I listen to everything and anything that soothes, inspires, peps up or makes you fall in love, 😊
I devour books literally, :D, If I have a preference for a certain author I don't seem to get enough of him/her. The author that I fell in love with was Leo Tolstoy and I am still exploring him through his books. I loved all three fiction by Khaled Hosseini. I love how Arundhati Roy writes her novels and I intend to read her essays too. The only reason that I haven't is because I am more inclined to fiction, :), and well my dear Linda Goodman who feels like an angel to me, I read her books during my teen years and early 20s and the impact of her words on me will continue to reverberate throughout my existence. Recently, after a long time, two books that touched me deep and stirred something inside me are 12 rules for life by Jordan B Peterson and Tibetan Book of Living and Dead by Sogyal Rinponche.
I watch a lot of movies and I have so many favourites. The ones I can remember are Lord of the Rings triology, the four parts of Batman and yea Twilight saga too ( now don't go judging me, I liked it for the intensity of emotions), I loved the series Gotham, The Flash and Wentworth too.
