ABOUT ME

I am Red Spectral Earth born in the year of the Rat, on the Virgo Libra Cusp. i still dont know the How's and the why's of astrology and am inclined to think it Mumbojumbo but still i can help but think what it says about me is spot on "Virgo/Libras strive to create balance and harmony between themselves and others. They bring their skills and talents together for the good of others. Despite their inherent modesty, those born on the Virgo/Libra cusp are industrious and efficient when working for a good cause. Objective and just, Virgo/Libras are excellent arbitrators and enjoy lots of friends."

right now i'm on a mini tour of europe, this is to help me out of a winter hibernation or research retreat in the swedish countryside. so far it's bringing back the hope i have in humanity and looking to return me home to London feeling strong, happy, healthy... the last ingredients for my big project for 2008.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

a couple of my bestest buddies are solid CouchSurfers and i have had the pleasure of meeting several of their guests. i also met a good university buddy at a CouchSuring party in London. appart from that i've stayed with 2 wonderful wonderful hosts (thanks!)

when i find my place in London and pay a visit to IKEA - my sofa will be community property (would it still be property?)

i like sports and have to at least try and catch the Arsenal matches on TV - i love the irony of the only place you can watch sport (if you dont have a TV) is down at the pub... watching and cheering healthy people whilst drinking several beers in the earlz afternoon. luckily, the pub is another pass-time of mine ;)

Music is what mean it all possible! My core music is Old school Rock & Hip Hop, Indie, Brit Pop, Classical Indian, Folk, Reggae, Dub, Acoustic and basically any music thats strung from the heart (or at bare mininmum creativly interesting, like animal collective;)

The top musician are Devendra Banhart, Nick Drake, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Radiohead, Arctic Monkey's, Bloc Party, Bjork, the two Bobs - Dylan & Marley.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

In the summer of 2004 i went on a trip around the Tibetan areas of the Indian Himalayas, i can't decide between the highlight of spending 10 days in teachings with the Dalai Lama or on standing on top of a mountain pass and seeing the trickle of water coming out the glacier... that trickle was the source of the river we had been following for about 50hrs trekking!
