ABOUT ME
Most people describe me as a laid-back and relaxed person. In reality, it is the little kid in me who doesn't want to take life too seriously and be a compliant office robot.
One of my passions is reading travel books and blogs. I admire the sense of adventure those brave travellers have. For me it's not about seeing new places, it's more about the sense of freedom travelling gives me.
PHILOSOPHY
Let's make the world a better place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been a member since November 2009 and I try to host as much as I can. I think I've turned down only one request and that's because I was going away the same day.
I've been hoping to couchsurf myself, but I haven't had the opportunity yet.
I attended one of the CS activities in Bucharest and it turned out to be one of the best nights out I had for some time :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was hosting a French couple in 2009. They were a lovely couple on their way to Australia. There aren't many foreigners passing through Nigde, so it was also a very new experience for my housemates.
Since then I had more visitors, they were all good experiences. The only downside is that most of the time one or two nights is not enough with such interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
-Music: I usually have the radio on, so I end up listening to Pop music. I also like alternative, electro/techno, cheesy European techno, and RATM, RHCP, Korn type of rock/heavy metal.
Movies/Books:
-The Shawshank Redemption
-The Platoon (I normally don't like war movies)
-LOTR (I read the books when I was younger too)
-The Millenium Trilogy, aka The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo (Only the books, the movies were disappointing)
-All Simon Singh books.
-I've read all Dan Brawn books, I actually don't like his style of writing.
-Richard Dawkins books
-BBC Horizon
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed 3723m to Emler, one of the Aladaglar peaks. It was the most challenging physical experience I've ever done.
I want to do it again in the near future.
