ABOUT ME

Living and thinking, laughing and drinking... Welcome to my profile! I hope I can host you and give you a bit of a memory from Stockholm! I just moved here four years ago so I'm constanly looking for new things to do and nice little golden places to discover, they are there if you look...
I've done a little bit of everything in life, but want to learn more... Slowly finding the field where I want to put my work - NGOs, environmental organisations, journalism... Currently I'm doing an internship at Amnesty International, Swedish section here in Stockholm.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to help and put energy into the big Karma pool!!! haha... you know, when you help somebody it comes back, maybe not to you, but to somebody else, who helps somebody else in turn... and I'd like to get to know interesting people and spread the multi culture vibes on to my friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a lot of people and surfed a bit, never had a bad experience!

Interests

Music (reggae, dub, hiphop, afrobeat, 70s psychedelica, Swedish progg, eurotechno (yes!), all kinds of music). Social, environmental and global issues. Everything from World Social Forum to Global Warming. Travelling of course.

Happy vegan! So no meat in my kitchen please...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Manu Chao, The Congos, Gogol Bordello, Bob Marley, Cumbia, Looptroop and other Swedish hiphop, Black Uhuru, Israel Vibration, A lot of stuff from Mali, West African 70s funk, Kultiration, Svenska Akademien and other Swedish reggae bands, Mortiis, Vas and other new age stuff, Bo Hansson and that kind of weird jazz, folk songs, Lee Scratch Perry... pretty much everything!

Books: Aw I wish I could read more books. But my concentration flows away... I liked 1984 by Orwell, I liked No Logo, and other stuff like that. HP Lovecraft horror stories too :)

Movies: I like weird movies. Like underground horror movies or zombie movies or whatever with a twist. Fantasy and sci fi movies also, as well as thoughtful dramas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm impressed every day by the sight of my two wonderful sisters.

The sight of reindeer in the Norwegian mountaintop night.

I've visited the slums in Kampala, Uganda and spoken with street children (poor guys... truly depressing :/ )
