About Me
Hello to all,
My name is Uri and up until recently I was a musician (Bass player) living in Tel-Aviv, where i've lived for most of my life.
After 10 years of persuing music as a career, I have decided to take a break and go exploring for a while.
I'm very eager to discover new places and new peolpe :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I loved meeting new people from other cultures during my travels abroad. It occurs to me that a great way to experience a new place is through the eyes of a local, and to be honest - much cheaper than hotels. On that note - I'm always happy to show much thanks and appreciation by cooking, taking hosts out for drinks or helping out in any way I can.
Interests
As to be expected from a musician - Music :)
Also - love a beer at the local pub, a movie once in a while. Eating and culinary exploration are a passion.
Always looking for excuses to expand my horizons. It might be time to pick up a book again... It has certainly been too long since I have.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music interests range all over the place, from Rock to Enya, From classical to death metal, from Latin to Rap. as long as it's good - I'm down :)
love sci-fi novels and the occasional thriller.
On movies i'm not very particular. I love the Cohen brothers' stuff, Tarantinos', various comedies and horror flicks. I've been known to even watch a documentary once in a while...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Come back from the dead.
Seriously.
It's a cool story.
