About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet awesome people
ABOUT ME
Who am I? That's a good question, really. I'm a traveller, and one of the most sarcastic and beer-loving (actually, make that whiskey-loving) people you will ever meet. When push comes to shove, I just like to party and enjoy life. It's the only one we've got.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to consider myself a follower of Camus' version of existentialism - we will die, our lives will be mostly meaningless and so will our efforts in the grand scheme of things. Our challenge is to face this abyss and choose the only thing we can - our attitude. We can submit to Sisyphean fate, revolt against it (i.e. commit suicide) or we can choose to be happy. I like the third option.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am both surfing and (possibly) hosting. Mostly I want to meet new people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, I made a documentary about CouchSurfing once, October 2008, if that counts for anything. Met a couple of people here and there.
I've also been to a few CouchSurfing meet-ups, overall lots of fun. :D

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - Inside Man, Interstate 60, Fight Club, Watchmen, Django Unchained.
Books - anything written by Camus, Shogun, Wheel of Time series, Count of Monte Christo, Song of Ice and Fire series (aka Game of Thrones).
Music - anything, really, but my favourite genres are (in no particular order) jazz, bebop, metal, hard rock, indie pop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to another country when I was 13 years old.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you are unsure about something, a theory of yours, think of it like cooking - you can either ask others, or you can try it and have fun doing it. That is the most crucial part - having fun doing what you do.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share cooking from all around the world, stories and generally good company (and possibly music if I bring my saxophone with me)
