ABOUT ME

I like geography and languages and art and making things with my hands and travel and costumes. I love meeting new people, diversity, sustainability, change and everything! I would love to meet YOU!

I have lived in a few different places around the UK and spent a lot of time in other countries such as France ad Spain. I am constantly trying to find a balance between travel and sustainable, low carbon living, and a balance between 'finding roots' and adventure!

I like anything about sustainable living, growing healthy food (for humans and the environment), and creativity!

I have often travelled on my own and meeting and staying with other people has always been the best thing about my journeys!

One day I want to find a big house in a forest and invite all of my wonderful hosts from across the years to a big party with lots of good food and music

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Lots of books - enjoy non-fiction but also the odd good novel.

I'm not very well educated about films and sometimes find it difficult to watch a screen for a long time, but when I do I tend to prefer quirky indie films.

As for music - I love almost everything! Especially when it is live. I really love hearing different types of music when I travel and am going to make an effort to be more musical myself. I would like to learn the harp!

I can share what I know about crafts like knitting, crochet, macramé, pottery and stuff like that! If you are interested in languages I can share what I know about French and Welsh (although I am not fluent in Welsh!)

I love learning bits of language for where I travel so would really appreciate new friends sharing that! And cooking food together.
